Wedding Timing

I was engaged last august and am now planning my wedding. My niece just got engaged and is planning her wedding for June 2011. I want to get married in May 2011. Is that o.k. or should I postpone my wedding?

Our Thoughts

The best thing to do is to discuss it with your niece. As long as you both are OK with it, this doesn’t have to be a big deal.

It is likely that she won’t have an issue with it, but the best thing to do is to just be open and talk to her about it. Another thing to consider is to make sure your niece will be back from her honeymoon to help you celebrate your big day.
