Wedding Gift Idea

I recently gave a wedding gift which was a picture frame with a photo that had the groom’s parents and the groom’s best friends in it. Was this appropriate?

The picture was something special for the groom. I thought if they just wanted to file the picture away, the frame could be used for something else.



Our Thoughts

It sounds like you put some thought behind your gift and selected something that would mean a lot to the couple and to the groom specifically. All too often wedding gifts are very impersonal and frequently consist of a check stuffed into a card.

Choosing to give a gift with meaning behind it was a great idea, and yes it was appropriate.

If you now feel like you need to give something in addition to the picture frame, you can still do that. Simply send the additional wedding gift to their home.
