Out Of Town Wedding

If the wedding takes place in the bride’s hometown can there be a reception in the groom’s hometown?

Absolutely! This is actually very common since it does not often happen that both families are from the same town.

If you are having your main wedding and reception in your hometown, you can certainly have another wedding reception in the groom’s hometown.

If you happen to live in nearby towns, you could also have your ceremony in one town and the wedding reception in the other. As long as your timeline is set up correctly to allow enough time for travel and photos, it is a great way to include both sides of the family.
