Should wedding guests thank the bride's family for hosting a lovely wedding and reception via a written note?



Our Thoughts

This is a great idea. Thanking those who are hosting a wedding (the bride’s family in this case) is something that doesn’t happen often enough.

While there is no rule or etiquette around this particular topic, sending a thank you note is a very nice gesture. If you had a great time at the wedding and want to send a note, go right ahead.

Planning and hosting a wedding can be a lot of hard work, so they will probably be pleased to hear that you enjoyed yourself.
