How do I let my guests know it is a cash bar?

Good wedding etiquette states that your wedding invitation should not be used to communicate things like gift preferences and the type of bar you are having at your reception.

The best way to get the word out is to ask your friends and family to spread the word. Also, use your wedding website as a way to communicate important information about your wedding day so your guests know what to expect.

In general we do not recommend having a cash bar. A better idea is to limit the bar to only beer and wine or a signature drink. This can help to keep your wedding budget in check while letting your guests enjoy your big day.
