Wedding cakes are typically set up on a separate cake table at the reception location. Many reception spaces have one area that the wedding cake table is typically located, so start by asking them if you haven’t already.

Wedding cake tables are usually in a location that is easy to get to and see but not in a high traffic location or an area that might interfere with the rest of your reception.

It is common for the cake table to be decorated to match the rest of your wedding. Flowers, candles and other accent items can be added to the table to help it blend in with your wedding colors and the rest of your wedding theme.
