Sending Wedding Invitations

When should I plan to send my wedding invitations? My wedding day is in June.

Dear Pamela,

Wedding invitations traditionally are sent out three months prior to the big event. This gives your guests enough time to make sure the day is free on their calendar.

Today it is also very common that couples send out Save the Date cards. If this is what you did for your wedding event date, then you should send your wedding invitations out two months prior to the big day.
